Cloud management & support

Pricing

Optimal transparency; that’s been the goal of determining the pricing of Jitscale. Jitscale is an all-in-one service that encompasses all the various necessary parts of an infrastructure.

The pricing of Jitscale is based on 2 different components:

  • the costs for the supporting infrastructure
  • the costs for managing all the application layers on top of it

By using the built-in cloud computing infrastructure of Jitscale you can achieve vast operational savings. Both your immediate and hidden expenditures for owning an infrastructure, including power, bandwidth, hardware and in some cases even licensing disappear. Also, you won’t be burdened with the costs that come with the required specific expertise of the various cloud computing providers, security-, scaling- and performance specialists.

These costs could be part of the cost of your current staffing, but usually are constituted by the hiring of various external consultants, use of different suppliers and need for third-line support contracts.

Transparency in costs

All of these costs are now in the past. Your future costs are made up of just two parts: the cost for infrastructure and the cost of support. That’s all. And only for actual use!

Infrastructural costs

Within the cloud, your infrastructure is made available only when necessary, on an hourly basis. Never longer than necessary. Every hour virtual servers are scaled up or down, depending on the requirements. All infrastructural costs correspond with the time you actually used your chosen cloudprovider’s services. These include processing power, network traffic, backup space, storage space, etc. The costs are charged by the hour and/or GB (per month). Adding to this bill for the ‘Infrastructure as a service’ is a handling fee, for which Jitscale takes care of all things involved.

Management costs

Jitscale also manages all your application layers pro-actively, 24/7, 365 days a year, anywhere in the world in accordance with a very competitive SLA.
This entails, amongst others:

  • the operating systems
  • the database servers
  • the application servers
  • the caching servers
  • and the storage servers

For this, a fee of less than $1.00 per server per hour is charged and only for the actually used servers. In short, only if your infrastructure experiences an increase in visitors and/or transactions costs will rise. If the number of visitors and transactions drop, your costs immediately drop as well.

SLA

The entire service provided by Jitscale will be detailed in a comprehensive SLA, including low response times and high uptime guarantees, that are set up in addition to those of the Cloud provider. Aside from the infrastructure, the SLA also details service windows, deployment procedures and governance models.

Also, we offer several options to amortize your initial set-up cost over a period of time of your choice. This way you can spread your infrastructure and management costs even more.
