I already relied upon their systems administration expertise. Jitscale’s combination of this expertise and a flexible infrastructure inspired me to a migrate my platform. Jitscale migrated our servers with record speed from physical hardware in a datacenter to the Amazon Cloud, in my case. The most important thing for us is that we no longer have an upper limit to our capacity, since we have a lot of peaks in visitor numbers to our Clubs.nl-sites. Next to that, with Jitscale I can instantly duplicate a complete (test) environment. And I can use this environment as long, or as short, as I like. When employing physical hardware sooner or later, or in our case, multiple times a day, you’ll be running into maximum capacity limits, which often can be tough to predict too. On launch, for example, Clubs.nl required five times the number of application servers that we are using currently. It’s also a comforting thought that I won’t be paying for excess capacity, since I only pay for extra scaled servers if they are needed. An extra advantage is that I’ve noticed that data costs are ten times lower with Jitscale, than if I’d taken up just any offer that initially came my way.
