Amazon Cloud expands to Asia Pacific region

Amazon has just opened an AWS Region in Singapore, following the announcement in november 2009. This is great news for Jitscale. We can now serve Asia Pacific-based businesses and global businesses with customers based in Asia.

The availability of a cloud infrastructure in Asia enables us to store and manage platforms in Asia close to end-users in that region. This is a huge improvement to local demands on performance, availability, jurisdictions and cost-effectiveness.

Homogenous infrastructure across the globe

For Asian customers it’s now easy to deploy a homogenous infrastructure across the globe, starting out in Asia and easily duplicating the same environment in Europe or the United States. European and American customers benefit in the same way by being able to deploy their cloud infrastructure efficiently to serve Asian customers without unnecessary latency.
