Increase in traffic Clubs.nl no problem for Jitscale

Clubs.nl is the first large social networking site in The Netherlands. Started in 1999 by ‘Het Net’ (KPN), the site offers members the ability to start their own club, which others can join. Every club has its own topic, which is passionately discussed by the various club members. Every day more clubs are created. Clubs.nl has over half a million active members and more than 15,000 active clubs.

After a period of 4 months the new Clubs.nl platform was taken out of beta and officially launched last week. One of the new releases is Clubpost 2.0, a system members can use to send email to each other and invite friends with. When Clubpost 2.0 came available on March 16 it was tried out en masse and boosted the number of visits by 20% during the next few days.

Also during the peak performance Clubs.nl was assured of 24×7 support, constant monitoring and the preparedness of our skilled engineers, should unexpected problems have appeared. The cloud platform automatically scaled up by 500% during the first few hours to handle this extra load without any problems, or needed support.
