IT Architect of the year
Justin van Heerde, lead architect at Jitscale, has been proclaimed 2009′s best IT architect (dutch). This distinction is awarded every year by Webwereld, which is the Dutch equivalent of PC World.
The expert jury selected Justin van Heerde as this years winner out of ten nominated architects. All nominees were featured on the (Dutch) website Webwereld with personal interviews prior to the announcement.
The jury, consisting of Michael Widjaja (Accenture), Ruben Spruijt (PQR) en Remi Caron (SDN), proclaimed Justin ‘IT architect of the year 2009′. The jury awarded the title to Justin not solely in recognition of his profoundly technical approach, but also praised his keen insight in current and future developments in the breadth of the field. An interview with Van Heerde can be read at Webwereld (dutch).
Eelco van Beek, CEO Jitscale: “Justin’s nomination came as no surprise to us. We’re very fortunate to have his expertise on board for Jitscale. The jury’s decision to grant the title to Justin should be seen as an acknowledgment of the importance of cloud computing and that of Jitscale in particular.”
