Albelli hires Jitscale to manage new CMS environment

Jitscale have announced that they are going to manage the new WordPress CMS environment of online photo book producer Albelli. The IT management organisation has been cooperating with Albelli since 2008 and has implemented various infrastructures for this client. Currently Jitscale is taking care of Albelli’s monitoring process and proactive management. 

Jitscale has designed a multi-cloud infrastructure to manage this particular CMS environment. The infrastructure uses both the public Amazon cloud and Rackspace cloud. Jitscale uses the Rackspace CDN solution (with other technology) to guarantee worldwide optimum performance of the CMS environment. The infrastructure is controlled and monitored from the Jitscale Management Layer, a cloud management tool developed by Jitscale. This CMS environment is fully redundant and spread throughout several availability zones.

The WordPress CMS runs within a LAMP environment, which means managing the system requires specialist knowledge of this particular environment, for example in the event of peak demand. Albelli is currently focusing on the development of their application; that is why they decided to outsource management of this platform.
