At Jitscale we provide our high-end clients a selection of 24/7 IT management & support services on operating systems, database clusters and application servers, often combined with a physical, virtual or cloud infrastructure underneath. What technology is being used, what kind infrastructure fits the best and what security measures need to be in place all depends on the (business) requirements of our customers. These requirements change per customer, per situation and are based on a lot of other changing factors.

Due to the growth of the company we are expanding our team of architects and therefore are looking for a

Pre-Sales IT Architect

The successful candidate is able to transfer all applicable requirements and needs into concrete proposals, in collaboration with our sales teams.

You will be joining meetings between the customers and the Jitscale sales team and will be responsible for collecting all relevant information for conversion into an innovative technical design. You will be required to present your designs alongside the sales team directly to the customer. Your activities will be mostly for the North American market, in collaboration with the sales director for the US as well as being available to the European market, via our sales teams in London and The Netherlands.

Next to pre-sales activities for the sales team you’ll be part of the international team or architects, who are stationed in the office in The Netherlands, you’ll be joining the US team in the Orlando office. In time you should aim to be joining the periodical technical roadmap meeting by demonstrating significant additional value to the team.

Required Skills

The required skills for this position are:

• Enthusiasm
• At least bachelor degree (Bsc.)
• Multiple years of experience in a B2B IT architect role
• Proven experience and knowledge of IT infrastructures, hardware and software
• Proven experience and knowledge of open and closed source technology
• Focussed on customer satisfaction and business profitability
• Good commercial and communicative skills
• Ambitious and eager to learn
