IT management specialists IC&S and Jitscale continue under the name Jitscale

Managed service provider IC&S Service & Support B.V.  and cloud management provider Jitscale join their activities and continue under the name Jitscale. Both companies are brought under one banner to optimize further internationalization and professionalization of activities and to enable flexible response to changing market demands.

Since 1999, IC&S provides support, development and consultancy of various internet-related platforms. Over the years the Dutch company has become an important player in the field of business critical infrastructures and application management. Internationally IC&S already offered its services under the name Jitscale, with a focus on cloud computing infrastructures. Gradually Jitscale services and IC&S services overlapped, eliminating differentia between both companies. In order to create unity required to succeed, it was decided to operate in all countries exclusively under the name Jitscale.

What will change?

Eelco van Beek, CEO of Jitscale: “We basically merge activities of both companies under the name Jitscale. We want to be one transparent organization that optimally serves all our national and international clients with a complete services portfolio. From now on we present Jitscale as a company that designs, implements, manages and optimizes business critical IT platforms, with all added cloud computing advantages.”

With this, the earlier distinction of the two companies, meaning between physical and virtual infrastructures, is discontinued. ‘The new Jitscale’ offers a range of location, technological and vendor-independent services on various platforms and multiple infrastructures. Physical and virtual client infrastructures are possible, as well as infrastructures in a multi-vendor or Jitscale environment. Platforms based on public and private cloud computing infrastructures, cloud-over-cloud infrastructures and multiple cloud platforms are all possible.

“Another thing we will focus on, is our ability to not only be of service to multinationals but also to SMEs”, says Van Beek. “Big companies and organizations already know us, but for smaller, more specialized companies we offer a whole range of excellent solutions that we are quite keen to go public with. We also offer an even broader security service, ensuring our clients are protected from denial-of-service and other attacks.”

Jitscale does not only have big plans for the Benelux, but continues to target the international market. In the near future offices will open in San Francisco and New York City. Jitscale is supported by the fact they are, since January 2011, the first Cloud-over-Cloud IaaS supplier worldwide with ISO/IEC 27001 certification. “A quality standard that indicates we are well on the right track. We face our national and international future with confidence”, concludes Van Beek.
