Good news for Jitscale customers; Amazon lowers its data transfer prices

There is some good news for all Jitscale customers running their infrastracture on Amazon AWS. Amazon will lower its data transfer prices, making cloud computing – besides increasing the flexibility of your organization and improving the performance of your infrastructure – even more cost effective.

The new prices will be:

Data transfer IN (all regions):

• USD 0,00 per GB

Data transfer OUT (US East Coast):

• First 1 GB/ month: USD 0,00 per GB
• Up to 10 TB/ month: USD 0,12 per GB
• Next 40 TB/ month: USD 0,09 per GB
• Next 100 TB/ month: USD 0,07 per GB
• Next 350 TB/ month: USD 0,05 per GB

The new prices will be effective starting July 1, 2011.
